Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the CanGoNow mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and The Good Citizen ("we," "us," or "our").
1. Description of Service
CanGoNow is a mobile application that provides:
- Real-time crowd information for venues in Singapore
- Venue details including location, amenities, and operating hours
- Map-based venue discovery
- Search and filtering functionality
- Favorites management
- Optional Pro subscription for enhanced features
The App is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
2. Eligibility
Age Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use CanGoNow
- Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
- Users under 13 are prohibited from using the App
Geographic Restrictions
- CanGoNow is designed for use in Singapore
- Crowd data and venue information is specific to Singapore
- Use outside Singapore may result in limited functionality
3. User Account and Responsibilities
No Account Required
CanGoNow does not require account creation for basic use. All data is stored locally on your device.
Pro Subscription (Optional)
If you subscribe to CanGoNow Pro:
- Subscription is linked to your Apple ID or Google Play account
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must provide accurate payment information
- You agree to pay all subscription fees
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the App for lawful purposes only
- Respect venue information accuracy
- Not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the App
- Not use automated tools to scrape or download App content
- Not impersonate others or provide false information
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Post or transmit malicious code or viruses
- Interfere with the App's operation
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Access the App through unauthorized means
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App
4. Subscription Terms (CanGoNow Pro)
4.1 Subscription Plans
CanGoNow Pro offers:
- Ad-free experience
- Unlimited favorites
- Real-time crowd data
- Future features (crowd alerts, historical insights)
Available Plans:
- Monthly: S$2.99/month (billed monthly)
4.2 Billing and Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You will be charged 24 hours before the current period ends
- Subscription price may change with 30 days' notice
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- Billing is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → CanGoNow → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → CanGoNow → Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.4 Free Trial (if applicable)
- Free trials may be offered at our discretion
- You will be charged when the trial ends unless cancelled
- Only one free trial per user
5. Intellectual Property
Ownership
All content in the App, including but not limited to:
- App design, layout, and user interface
- Logos, trademarks, and branding
- Software code and algorithms
- Venue data and crowd information
...is owned by The Good Citizen or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without written permission.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
6.1 Data Accuracy
Crowd data and venue information are provided for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate. We do not guarantee:
- Real-time accuracy of crowd levels
- Availability of parking, facilities, or services at venues
- Operating hours or amenity information
6.2 No Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Any damages arising from use of the App
- Inaccurate venue or crowd data
- Interruptions or errors in the App
- Loss of data or content
- Third-party actions (e.g., venue closures, policy changes)
6.3 Use at Your Own Risk
You acknowledge that:
- The App is a planning tool, not a guarantee
- You should verify information independently
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on App data
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time
- Remove any content or features without notice
- Discontinue the App entirely
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in Singapore courts.
